About Our Lead the Warriors and Lead the Writers Programs
Lead the Warriors - a Program to Support Disabled Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces
In 2025, Inspired Life Ministries began to officially support veterans of the United States Armed Forces with special needs and disabilities as the result of combat injuries.
OurLead the Warriors initiative is spearheaded by Kayleigh E. McLauchlan, who has more than two decades of experience as a military dependent of an enlisted soldier and warrant officer and has spent the past decade becoming a trusted friend, advocate, and supporter of disabled veterans.
Lead the Warriors additionally is championed by Wendy Hamilton, founder of Inspired Life Ministries and a recipient of the Molly Pitcher Medal. Wendy was inducted into The Honorable Order of Molly Pitcher in appreciation of her service and contributions to the 31st ADA Brigade of Fort Bliss, Texas.

Lead the Writers
We know the power of a handwritten letter and a well-timed note!
One of our core ministry programs is Lead the Writers, a letter-writing initiative that teaches the how-to basics of handwritten letterwriting. We show participants how to use the written word as a ministry resource to connect to those in need. Participants in the Lead the Writers program learn about writing letters and write encouraging notes to leaders in every sector of life. Additionally, our writers are able to partner with other non-profit organizations to send letters to individuals and their families battling short-term or long-term illnesses and disease. Our program participants also join efforts with global initiatives such as Postcrossing and The Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society, and others.
Financial support of this ministry goes to providing each member with a supply of stationary, stamps, and resources they need to begin to use personal letter writing as a ministry to encourage others.
